Lakota Squash # SS1
This squash is an old traditional heirloom winter squash that is considered a rare variety. It has a wonderful sweet taste, proven to do well in Northern climates. The Lakota has an average of 5-7 lb. squash and 3-5 squash on each plant. ( 85-90 days) 25 seeds per pack. $3.00 a pack
~ Our "09" seed crop had not been planted out do to the risk of cross-pollination from new gardens in our area and we did not want to risk contamination to our Lakota seeds. We have found an isolated area for our "10" season crop and are expecting to have a good supply available next fall.
I apologize for the inconvenience to those who had counted on purchasing the Lakota seeds but we knew that not having one seasons harvest was better than losing a whole crop of rare seeds permanently .
If you would like to be added to our list for Nov/Dec "10" Lakota seeds just e-mail me with your contact information.
SOLD OUT UNTIL NEXT SEASON
